Peachtree automatically assigns sequential invoice numbers at the time the invoices are printed. For this reason, there is typically no need to manually enter a number into the “Invoice No.” field on the Sales/Invoicing screen. One exception is in an event  where you have to manually create an invoice outside of Peachtree and need to record the transaction without printing the invoice. Read more…
